Paste the API key generated from the xAI console, then click the Connect button.
For instructions on how to create an API key, please refer to the How to generate API Key tab above.
Log in to the xAI console page, then click the key icon on the left to access the API key management page.
On the API Key management page, click the Create API Key button to generate a new key.
Review the settings below, then click the Save button to generate the key:
Name: Specify a name for the API key
Enable all endpoints: This must be enabled; disabling it will prevent use in Outcode
Enable all models: This must be enabled; disabling it will limit access to available models
A message confirming the successful creation of the API key will appear along with the key details.
Click the Copy button, then paste the key value into Outcode.
Please ensure the key is kept secure and not exposed to external parties.
Only accounts with registered payment information and sufficient balance can register and use an API key.
The currently supported model is Grok 2.
If you wish to use Grok 3, separate approval is required.
If the connector connection cannot be established, please check the following settings:
The payment information is invalid or has expired
The API key has been deleted or regenerated
The organization using the API key has restricted settings
The API key is not configured to allow public access to endpoints
