Connect with API Token

• Workspace Name: This refers to the unique Jira workspace name.

  How to find your Workspace Name: For example, if your Jira workspace URL is:

  

  Then, the part before .atlassian.net — in this case, outcode — is your workspace name.

• Email Address: The email associated with the account that issued the API token.

• API Token: Enter the API token generated from your Atlassian personal account.

How to get API Token?

1. On the Jira page, click your profile picture in the top right corner, then click Account settings to open it in a new tab.

1. In the Account Management page, click the Security menu at the top.

1. On the Security page, click the Create and manage API tokens button under the API token section.

1. Click the Create API token button.

1. Specify a name for the API token, then click the Create button to generate the token.

1. Once the API token is successfully created, click the Copy button to save the key.

   Note: You will not be able to view the token again after closing the window. Make sure to store it in a secure location to prevent any unauthorized access.

Please ensure that each field is entered correctly.

• The email address of the API token issuer must match exactly.

  If it doesn't, automation and dataflow execution will not be possible.

• Confirm that the account used to issue the API token has the necessary Jira permissions.

  If not, you will need to request the required access from the project administrator.
