How to Use Variables in the Automation App

When you click on an input field, a list of available data to reference will appear. Select the desired data, and the reference value will be automatically inserted in Outcode syntax.

If you prefer to enter the reference value manually, use {{$.column_index}}.

If you input values in the order of 0, 1, 2, 3 from the left, Outcode will automatically substitute and execute them.

Example:

To use the imported name data, simply enter {{$.1}} — the value will be automatically substituted and sent.

If you need to type {{ literally in an email or message (and not use it as a data reference), make sure to use {{ instead.

This ensures that it won't be treated as a variable by the automation system.
