Access Controls
Apps
All app information linked through Outcode is securely managed using AWS Key Management Service (KMS).
The access credentials for all apps are wrapped and protected, ensuring they are not visible to other users or general members. General users can search for existing apps by their name and description, but cannot view sensitive access details.
Administrators have full control over all apps within the team.
General users can manage access only to the apps they have personally created or linked.
This structure ensures both security and flexibility, allowing users to collaborate while maintaining strict access boundaries.
Access Control
In Outcode, apps created within a team can be accessed and viewed by all members of that team. If you want to restrict access to a specific team or specific users only, you must create a new team.
Each team is protected by strict, isolated security protocols, and no information (connectors, automation apps, dataflow apps, team settings, etc.) from one team can be accessed by another.
To ensure safe and secure use, all data and permissions are managed at the team level, and users cannot access any team they do not belong to. If access to multiple teams is needed, the user must be invited to and join each team separately.
There is no limit to the number of teams a user can belong to.
Permission Levels
User permissions are divided into two levels:
Administrator: Has full access to all features within the team, including the ability to edit and delete resources.
General User: Can create automation apps and dataflow apps, and invite other members to the team.
